What You'll Do:
As a key player in our office, you will manage essential functions including:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Drive the caregiver hiring process – post jobs, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding paperwork.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee caregiver scheduling using AxisCare, coordinate client needs, efficiently handle schedule changes and urgent requests.
- Office Administration & Support: Be the first point of contact answering phones, manage inquiries, maintain confidential records, support compliance, and assist with client intake.
- Growth & Representation: Be a driving force in helping us to grow our client and caregiver roster. Represent AMADA Senior Care (Edinburg Territory) at networking events and community activities.
- Liaison & Communication: Serve as the liaison between Texas regulatory agencies, ownership, staff, and clients.
- Training & Compliance: Complete Administrator Training within 30 days of accepting the role.
- Other: All other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Texas Administrator Requirement: Must meet at least one of the following Texas HHSC requirements for a Personal Assistance Services agency Administrator:
- HS Diploma/GED 1 yr experience/training with individuals with functional disabilities; OR
- 2 years full-time study in a health-related field at an accredited college/university; OR
- HS Diploma/GED 2 yrs management/supervisory experience in a health-related setting (e.g., home care, hospital).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in office administration, recruiting, scheduling, or supervisory roles (home care/healthcare setting preferred).
- Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with scheduling software (AxisCare is a plus!).
- Excellent communication, strong organization, and effective multi-tasking abilities.
- Professional, reliable, and able to handle confidential information.
- Other: HS Diploma/GED required. Must pass background check/TB screen. Valid Driver's License/reliable transportation preferred.
Compensation & Perks:
- Starting pay from $14.00/hour, plus premium pay based on experience.
