The Lead Wedding Planner must possess the following qualities:
- At least 2 years previous experience working as a Lead Wedding or Event Coordinator/Planner or Venue Manager

Tasks the Lead Wedding Planner will handle:
- Following Amador Event Co's detailed planning process
- Attending all meetings with vendors and the couple (either via zoom, phone or in-person) prior to the event date
- Timeline management: maintaining a detailed timeline for the day's events, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and on schedule. Coordinate with the wedding party, vendors, and venue staff to ensure everyone is aware of the timeline and their respective roles.
- Oversee Decor Set-up: setup and arrangement of decorations, ensuring they are in line with the couple's vision.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address any unexpected challenges or emergencies that may occur during the event. Find appropriate solutions and ensure a seamless experience for the couple and their guests.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and communicate with vendors throughout the event.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by AEC
*This position will be mostly remote / require meetings as needed with the couple or vendors up to 5 weeks before the wedding date
*Travel for events required (note that events usually happen on weekends; mostly within the Amador/Sacramento area). Planner will know event days required in advance.
*This position requires staging on a wedding day to ensure the right fit. If candidate passes the staging process, they will be contacted to train on the planning processes.
Pre-requisites:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Google Drive
- Knowledge of Aisle Planner a plus
- Some college preferred
- At least 2 years experience as a Lead Wedding or Event Coordinator/Planner or Venue Manager
Pay: DOE

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
