Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company. We provide wedding design, wedding coordination and planning services for engaged couples.
The Assistant Wedding Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity for those seeking real-world experience in the wedding industry. This position is for weekday and weekend weddings and compensation is $150 per wedding.
This position will work under the lead wedding planner to provide a helping hand for all weddings. It's a great position for those looking to gain experience in the event industry. You will work alongside our lead coordinators to execute weddings.
- Be an advocate for the couple, keeping them calm under pressure and assisting with any issues that arise throughout the day
- Oversee ceremony & reception set up
- Execute all day-of operations for the wedding, which includes being at the venue from the very beginning of the morning through tear down at the end of the night
- Greet and direct all vendors
- Communicate with all vendors regarding set ups
- Set up of seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, guest book and other decor
- Assist the wedding party and family with any needs, questions or concerns
- Ensure end of event arrangements are made for gifts, guest book, toasting flutes, etc.
Requirements
- Ability to work weekends is essential
- Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 per day
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
