"WEDDING DAY ASSISTANT" DESCRIPTION:
As a Wedding Day Assistant to the Wedding Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the wedding day. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site support and assistance to the Wedding Planner on the day of the event. You will work closely with the planner, vendors, and the wedding party to create a memorable and flawless wedding experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- On-Site Coordination: Assist the Wedding Planner in overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of the event.
- Timeline Management: Assist in maintaining a detailed timeline for the day's events, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and on schedule. Coordinate with the wedding party, vendors, and venue staff to ensure everyone is aware of the timeline and their respective roles.
- Guest Management: Greet and assist guests upon arrival, directing them to appropriate areas and providing any necessary information. Respond to guest inquiries and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the event with the Planner.
- Decor and Setup Assistance: Assist in the setup and arrangement of decorations, ensuring they are in line with the couple's vision and the planner's instructions.
- Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address any unexpected challenges or emergencies that may occur during the event. Work closely with the Wedding Planner to find appropriate solutions and ensure a seamless experience for the couple and their guests.
- Vendor Management: Assist the Wedding Planner in coordinating and communicating with vendors throughout the event.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Assist with any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the wedding planner.

*A majority of events are located in Amador or Sacramento County, CA
*Weekends are a must (most events are Saturday & Sunday with an occasional Friday or weekday)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
