Job Summary
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. The venue is a high end restaurant with ties to a celebrity chef. This role requires a strong leader with a background in culinary management, food handling, and staff training. The General Manager will work closely with department heads to develop budgets, implement training programs, and maintain high standards of service and quality.

Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Manage food handling processes to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Develop and monitor budgets for various departments, ensuring financial goals are achieved.
- Provide training and development for staff to enhance skills in food management and customer service.
- Coordinate with bar management to ensure a well-stocked bar and exceptional beverage service.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for staff improvement.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience as a F&B General Manager (upscale restaurant preferred).
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food management principles.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
