Job Description:
Do you have a passion for BBQ and a knack for leadership? G's BBQ is on the hunt for a General Manager who can lead our team with the same precision and enthusiasm that goes into our perfectly smoked ribs. As AGM, you’ll assist the maestro of our BBQ orchestra, ensuring every part of our operation hits the right notes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Motivate and guide our team to deliver top-notch service and mouth-watering BBQ. Be the BBQ guru they look up to!
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep the kitchen sizzling and the dining room buzzing.
- Guest Engagement: Ensure every guest has a memorable experience with our home-town hospitality. Turn first-timers into regulars with your charm and BBQ expertise.
- Training and Development: Implement and oversee training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback. Help our team grow into BBQ pros.
- Community Involvement: Represent G’s BBQ along side our founder, in the Starke community, participate in local events, and foster strong relationships with our neighbors.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to boost business.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with our marketing parthers to develop and execute promotional campaigns that draw in the crowds.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Assistant General Manager
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen management, front-of-house service, and financial management.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Passion for Southern BBQ and a deep appreciation for authentic, high-quality food.
- Commitment to providing outstanding guest service and creating a welcoming environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and best practices.
