JOB DESCRIPTION :
Cloud Security Architecture Design and implement security controls to protect cloud resources (AWS, GCP), ensuring compliance with security best practices.
Risk & Threat Analysis Assess cloud threats and risks using the NIST framework and develop security solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Automation & DevSecOps Automate security controls using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, and other scripting tools for efficiency and scalability.
Identity & Access Management (IAM) Define and enforce access policies, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms across cloud environments.
Security Monitoring & Compliance Utilize tools like AWS Inspector, Defender, and GCP's security suite to monitor and enforce cloud security standards.
Cloud Networking & Infrastructure Security Secure VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and implement best practices for networking security and segmentation.
Application & Data Security Secure cloud applications, implement encryption at rest / in transit, and ensure proper backup and data protection strategies.
Collaboration & Leadership Work with security, governance, cloud engineering, and development teams to implement security strategies across business units.
Technical Guidance & Documentation Provide mentorship, create security playbooks, and document best practices for internal teams and production support.
Stakeholder Engagement Lead technical discussions, advise on security improvements, and represent the organization in industry events and workshops.
