Amare's Research & Development team is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Document Control Specialist to join a growing team remotely and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our international trade documentation.

- Maintain a centralized document repository for easy access and retrieval by internal teams (Purchasing, Finance, Customs)
- Manage a version control system to track changes and ensure the use of the most up-to-date documents
- Conduct regular document audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Archive inactive documents according to company policies and regulations
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and gather necessary documentation for international shipments
- Assist with fire drills by efficiently retrieving and assembling required documents for specific countries
- Maintain a detailed log of document activity, including creation, revisions, and distribution
- Utilize document management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in document control or a similar administrative role
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with document management software a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
