What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Application and Integration Engineer position at AMAROK Security?
The Senior Application and Integration Engineer will be a key contributor on our Data and Applications team at AMAROK. Specifically, this individual will be our lead engineer for our Workato IPaaS implementation (2025) and ERP Migration (2026), and in addition, will support data integrations across the AMAROK technology landscape. The Senior Application and Integration Engineer will work with team leads, third-party partners, and key business stakeholders to identify, build, and troubleshoot complex workflows in addition to contributing to the design, administration, and support of the new Integration Platform and ERP system. This role requires a highly skilled technical professional who can work independently while partnering closely with senior team members and business stakeholders. Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are a must.
Responsibilities
• In conjunction with the data engineering and governance teams and third-party partners, implement a new IPaaS platform (Workato).
• Liaison with development team and third-party partners to translate existing integration in Node.JS to low-code/no-code platform.
• Migrate additional existing workflows from current SAAS integration platform to new IPaaS.
• Assist with the evolution of standards, policies, principles, and procedures to guide technology implementation on a low-code/no-code architecture platform in preparation for ERP migration.
• Contributes to functional, logical, and technical architecture for the ERP project and collaborates with third-party partners on implementation.
• Identifies necessary non-functional requirements (performance, security, operational concerns) and participates in addressing them.
• Helps develop and execute test plans to test functional software and infrastructure and helps drive consistency and automation.
• Recommend improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required by the Manager of Application and Data Platforms.
Qualifications
• Actively participated in at least one ERP migration.
• Experience building ERP application functionality and cloud-based enterprise integrations using modern technologies (JSON, REST APIs, messaging/queues, RDS, etc.), as well as on-premises databases.
• Knowledge of user authentication and security best-practices as related to cloud applications and integration.
• Solid understanding of accounting and supply chain principles within the ERP system.
• A team player who can collaborate with others but also complete projects independently when required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to break down sophisticated issues.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with partners at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. And 5 years of experience in Data Integration and ERP Systems.
