Job Title: Python Developer
Job Type: Contract W2 or 1099
Job Mode: On-site
Location: Bentonville, AR
Duration: 12 Months (Long Term Possible)
Pay Rate: $60 on Contract W2 or 1099
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python
* Collaborate within an Agile team to achieve sprint goals and align with larger organizational objectives
* Take ownership of project components and continuously seek system improvements
* Solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
* Maintain high-quality code through unit tests and large test suites
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
* 10 years of professional software engineering experience
* Strong experience with frameworks and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
* Familiarity with creating CLI tools and REST APIs
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins preferred)
* Knowledge of distributed Python packages and containerized applications (Docker)
* AWS cloud infrastructure experience, including ECR, ECS, and S3
* A background in financial markets is a plus
* Enjoy tackling complex challenges and developing efficient algorithms
* Focused on team success and collaboration
* Comfortable with precise mathematical calculations
* Takes initiative and delivers results with minimal supervision
