Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to train and supervise home health aides in both classroom and clinical settings.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and time-management skills, as well as be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PCA Training programs, including PCA/HHA In-service & Orientation
- Act as a teacher, facilitator, and clinical role model in the area of expertise
- Motivate and inspire individuals to become skilled home care professionals
- Review and sign off on employees' annual and initial health documents
- Initiate home care visits and reassess patient needs and progress regularly
- Supervise home health aides during days without classes
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
- Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse license
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Ability to work positively and effectively with patients, families, and staff
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
