Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and energetic Event Assistant to support our team during a one-day Wedding Expo. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys events, is organized, and doesn’t mind pitching in to help with all aspects of a fun and busy day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving materials and decor (must be able to lift 20 lbs)
- Distribute marketing materials and promotional items to expo attendees
- Greet and engage with guests at our Photo Booth area
- Help keep the booth area tidy and organized throughout the event
- Provide general support to the wedding planning team as needed
Requirements:
- Must be available for the full day of the event
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift at least 20 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment
- Professional, friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
- Punctual and dependable
Dress Code:
- Comfortable attire during setup and cleanup (before/after the expo)
- Business casual during event hours (while interacting with guests)
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $17.15 - $18.12 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
