The Customer Success team dives deep to identify what levers, initiatives, and sales strategies can best support our partnerships through their partner lifecycle – from acquisition to full funnel adoption. Our team works cross functionally across Amazon Ads – Finance, AdTech, Product, Marketing, Account Executives, Partner Development Managers – to solve complex problems, identify opportunities and develop sales strategies that drive partner growth and impact. This individual is an expert in business strategy and operations and are both analytical and strategic. They are pragmatic and results-oriented. As a Principal, Sales Strategy & Operations Specialist, you’ll contribute to the development of the Global Partner Development org’s strategic plan through actionable insights, monitor key metrics to drive accountability as well as surface risks and opportunities to senior global and local leadership. Key job responsibilities • Define key mechanisms and SOPs aligned to the org’s top strategic priorities, defining levers and sequencing, and landing partner type and segmentation design • Support change management with customer-facing partner teams to upskill, scale best practices, and share learnings. • Use internal and third-party tools to analyze revenue, deal, and entitlement data to inform partner strategies and set priorities for the Global Partner Development org and Partner Growth team • Solve high-impact problems and develop actionable solutions using complex data sets • Act as thought partners to the organization in order to translate strategic recommendations into execution, with a particular focus on where and how recommendations drive value • Partner with Amazon Ad’s centralized Global Sales Operations to execute partner segment strategy and levels of service • Identify opportunities for future innovation and programs based on global customer VOC • Uses expertise and judgment to select appropriate stakeholders to determine the right goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions. Able to deliver independently and take the lead on local initiatives. • Translate partner and internal stakeholder feedback into business use cases and requirements, and collect marketplace intelligence required to help guide prioritization of global advertiser and agency initiatives. • Able to think big and understand full spectrum of customer data and also zoom in, as needed, to troubleshoot, pivot and/or identify high value actions. • Strong knowledge of the digital advertising industry including established formats (Streaming TV, Online & Mobile Video/Display) and emerging formats (Audio & Outdoor) • Design, execute and track GTM motions working across multiple stakeholders including: product, marketing, technical support, front line BD teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Experience successfully managing large scale strategic advertising programs with distributed internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis
- Understands how systems/processes/programs work, capable of taking a step back to improve, fix or simplify established processes
- Familiar with SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Power Pivot)
