As a Data Center Program Manager, you will draw upon your mechanical / electrical expertise to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners. Your responsibilities will encompass managing capital and operational expenses in data center operations, including :
- Managing requirements, budgets, designs, and implementation of assigned projects.
- Assessing annual maintenance program needs and generating a rolling 18-month project forecast.
- Facilitating the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) with partner teams for inclusion in contract documents.
- Evaluating partner performance and escalating issues when necessary.
- Monitoring project schedules and quality in collaboration with operational teams and partners.
- Leading design and execution efforts, ensuring equipment specifications, material flow, and process design align seamlessly.
- Identifying project risks and proposing actionable solutions.
- Fostering collaborative relationships with data center leadership teams and internal stakeholders.
- Improving knowledge about data center technologies and operating independently with minimal supervision.
- Ensuring compliance with new standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians and vendor support teams.
- Establishing performance benchmarks and analyzing facility operations and maintenance.
- Communicating complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Assisting in the design and build-out of new facilities if necessary.
This role may involve travel and requires physical capability to navigate job sites, including uneven terrain and construction-related tasks.
