Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled and high-performing Executive Assistant to support 3 Directors within Commerce Platform. This role has impact across multiple teams, and will require attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an experienced planner and coordinator with the demonstrated ability to execute and respond effectively and efficiently. The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements for a geographically dispersed team. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency. The candidate must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group. Key job responsibilities 1. Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars 2. Management of complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance. 3. Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders 4. Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic) 5. Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities (staff meetings, all-teams meetings, supply ordering) 6. Work alongside other executive assistants within the organization and throughout AWS/Compute Services to drive best practices and cross collaboration of efficiencies A day in the life Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and projects quickly, and proactively take action without having to know the total picture. You will learn organizational structures and objectives of the teams you support, as well as build a strong internal network. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, all while having fun and making history. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
