Fleet Manager:

Annual Salary: Starting at $55-60k

Schedule: Monday- Friday 0600-1500 [9-hour days with 1 hour lunch]

Hours may fluctuate depending on the needs of the Company.
*During Peak Season, additional hours and/or some weekends may be necessary

• Our company is interested in hiring an experienced fleet manager who can work closely with executives to manage the upkeep of our fleets in a cost-efficient manner. You will work with our drivers to manage the fleet so TWLD delivers our customers the highest possible level of service. The successful candidate will streamline routes with drivers to keep costs down while still providing the level of service customers expect. Our Fleet Manager will also be responsible for meeting regularly with drivers, dispatchers, executives, and maintenance team members to discuss ways to meet or exceed goals
• Responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Assist with daily load-out on site
• Track and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on all vans per lease vendor schedule and that all Vehicle registrations are up to date. Develop a spreadsheet or other App to track van maintenance.
• Responsible for scheduling and taking vans to licensed dealers/auto shops for preventive maintenance or any other required servicing
• Responsible for the upkeep of the vans. This includes keeping the vans clean, replacing headlights, jumping vans with dead batteries, and any other essential tasks not requiring a licensed dealer.
• Working with Amazon Preferred Rental Partners (PRP) to negotiate pricing on van rentals.
• Work with Car repair shops, towing companies, auto parts stores, etc., to negotiate and schedule Van repairs.
• Keep an up-to-date vendor list for tow companies.
• Ensure adequate vans are secured and rented to meet future increased route counts or reduced to meet future reduced route counts
• Ensuring new vans are fueled up and fully equipped with required items required for deliveries
• Document damages to vans and provide efficient solutions to fix the damage
• Perform weekly inspections of all vans
• Ensure all Vans have the proper documents, including Proof of Insurance, DOT Documentation, LeasePlan, & Rental company Maintenance Schedules, etc
• Verify that all vans are updated in the Amazon Portal to meet fleet needs fully.
• Working with the Insurance company to add to the policy new vans or delete Vans removed from the fleet. Also, review monthly Bills for accuracy
• Schedule Vans to be washed inside and out as needed.
• Ensure all Vans have Numbered TDC Tags and the same with the Pouches and keys utilized by drivers.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is Required. Must be able to develop and maintain schedules using spreadsheets and Word.
• You must have knowledge of Microsoft Teams.
• Prior Fleet Management experience required and working knowledge of car engines and Parts with the ability to do minor repairs- change tires, bulbs, and tightening loose screws.
• Supervisory experience is required. Fleet support staff report directly to the Fleet Manager, so the ability to Coach, motivate, and discipline is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills that will allow professional interactions with Drivers, other managers, and executives
