- 1 year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
- 1 year experience using MS excel, able to navigate and interpret data
- Able to lift up to 49 pounds
- Schedule is 40 hours a week, 8 hours daily
- Monday - Saturday, morning and evening shifts, depending on the needs
- Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. Key job responsibilities - Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule. - Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor. - Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts. - Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems. - Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry picker, and hand carts. A day in the life A day in the life would include fulfilling warehouse orders by kitting and packing direct material and delivering the kits to the production floor. The base pay for this position ranges from $49,920/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,560/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
