We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE II) to join our Retail Integration Merchant experience team in the Just Walk Out organization. As an SDE II, you will be an autonomous contributor, working independently and with your team to invent, design, and build software that is stable and performant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing software solutions for the Retail Platform team in Physical Stores Organization
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
- Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning to ensure operational excellence
- Training new teammates on software development, operation, security, and integration with the bigger picture
About the Team:
The Retail Platform team in Physical Stores Organization is responsible for integrating retail systems needed for 3P retailers to use the Just Walk Out technology as a service in their physical stores.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range based on geographic location, with a base pay ranging from $129,300/year to $223,600/year. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
