Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
About the Role:
As an Industrial Automation Technician for Amazon, you will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will also install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Furthermore, you will mentor junior technicians to help them grow in their roles. To keep you safe on the job, we provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes.
Responsibilities:
- • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility.• Track and store department inventory.
