Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. As a OSP Design Engineer, You Will Have The Exciting Opportunity To Design Fiber Solutions And Maintain Records Surrounding Our Fiber Optic Infrastructure Using GIS And Associated Tools. You Will
- Interface with internal (Data Center Engineering, Business Developers, Deployment Engineers, Tool Automation) and external stakeholders (Construction Vendors, Engineering Firms, )
- Create engineering design and documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system
- Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy .
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery.
- Willing to travel 10% of the time

- 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
- BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
- 2 years of data, inventory, or records management in GIS Systems.
