AWS is seeking an experienced Analyst Relations leader to develop and shape the company's relationships with key industry analysts and advisory firms. This role will lead a global team responsible for managing AWS's strategic engagement with the analyst community, educating, and influencing analysts on AWS services portfolio. You must have a strategic mind and be able to shift from the 20,000-foot level to the tactics of the discipline to be successful and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Director of Analyst Relations will play a crucial role in shaping how AWS is perceived by industry influencers and decision-makers. This position requires an exceptional communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives. This leader must maintain strong relationships with leading industry analysts and facilitate robust, two-way discussions between the analysts and internal stakeholders. The role demands deep understanding of enterprise technologies, cloud computing, and the broader technology landscape.
This is a highly strategic position that looks around corners with Product & Engineering teams and understand AWS product strategy and roadmaps. It also requires close collaboration across Marketing, PR, and Sales organizations to engage with the analyst community and utilize the analyst assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing, diverse and inclusive global AR team while serving as a key liaison between AWS and the analyst community.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and oversee the global AWS Analyst Relations team, reporting to the AWS CMO.
- Build, influence
- 15 years of analyst relations/communications/product marketing experience in the tech industry
- 12 years directly interacting with Gartner, Forrester and other major IT industry analyst firms
- 12 years of people management experience
- Experience in supporting and driving business value for Sales, Product, and/or Marketing teams at a large-scale multi-geographical organization
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Clearly understands technology and can abstract business/solution value
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- Able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL
- 1 years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
- 1 years of management experience
