The Automated Reasoning Group within AWS Cloud Operations is seeking a talented Applied Scientist to join our team. In this role, you'll focus on the exciting intersection of Artificial Intelligence and program analysis to automate the management of cloud compute resources. Your initial focus will be on reactive, incident-driven remediation, with a long-term goal of advancing towards preventative actions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or Master’s degree
- Experience with patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C , Python, or similar
- Expertise in areas such as algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing
- A minimum of 3 years of experience building models for business applications
