DESCRIPTION
Amazon’s Private Brands team is looking for a leader to join our team as a Manager, Private Brands Supply Chain. This leader plays an important role in shaping the future for the Hardlines and Softlines portions of the Private Brands organization by defining inbound supply chain strategies, ensuring a synchronized view of sales forecasts, product ordering, inventory flow, transportation and the health of our storage and fulfillment network. This is a high impact role with an opportunity to influence a high-visibility, quickly evolving part of the Private Brands business.
As Manager, you will play a critical role in the growth of the Hardlines and Softlines Private Brands businesses by leading inventory planning and supply chain management for a diverse range of product categories across a global supply chain. The manager in this role oversees a team of 6 direct reports.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensuring all products under remit are available for our customers to purchase
· Developing and executing plans to improve inventory availability and delivery speed
· Working across our global team to optimize supply chain lead times and costs
· Setting goals and managing performance against key operational and business performance metrics
· Leveraging data to drive analysis and decision-making
· Contributing to the development and success of new products
· Developing scalable solutions to operational challenges
The ideal candidate should be passionate about retail and have strong project management abilities. The candidate should feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment.
The leader in this role is expected to work in-person at our Seattle headquarters. Occasional travel may be required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change
- Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
