DESCRIPTION
The Worldwide Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Insights and Planning team’s mission is to drive the global growth of the FBA business by identifying business opportunities through analysis and leading optimization initiatives that align with FBA’s 10-Year Vision.
This newly created, single-threaded, role is focused on spearheading new returns-related practice and/or policy changes as part of efforts that drive FBA growth in under-penetrated categories. This work is tied to driving customer and seller experience improvements through transformative changes and is a strategic priority tied to a senior leadership initiative. This role has a worldwide focuses with initial prioritization on United States and Europe.
This position offers a unique opportunity to drive transformative changes into how we process returns for customers and sellers, directly improving efficiency, quality, and business growth. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, cross-functional leadership experience, and a passion for technological advancement in e-commerce logistics.
Key job responsibilities
1. Partner with product, tech, and operations on the development of specialized operating procedures that allow for the validation of defects and enforcement of policies or other practice standards.
2. Ideate and drive innovative practices and policies that create the right tension between customers and sellers that lead to an overall optimized experience.
4. Collaborate with operations teams to develop scalable processes that increase Amazon's flexibility in handling returned units.
5. Manage stakeholder relationships with teams across Stores worldwide by: providing regular initiative updates, addressing escalations promptly, influencing future strategic direction, and aligning on business requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
