The Worldwide(WW) Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Insights and Planning team’s mission is to drive the global growth of the FBA business by identifying business opportunities through analysis and leading optimization initiatives that align with FBA’s 10-Year Vision.
This newly created, single-threaded role is focused on spearheading the 3 year-vision for FBA Everyday Essentials strategy and/or policy changes as part of efforts that drive FBA growth in this under-penetrated category. This work is tied to driving customer and seller experience improvements through transformative changes and is a strategic priority tied to a senior leadership initiative. This role has a worldwide focuses with initial prioritization on United States and Europe.
This position offers a unique opportunity to drive the long term strategy on how FBA should approach Everyday Essential including transformative changes into how we envision this experience for customers and sellers, directly improving efficiency, quality, and business growth. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, cross-functional leadership experience, and a passion for technological advancement in e-commerce logistics.
Key job responsibilities
* Define the WW strategy for FBA and drive initiatives to increase growth in FBA Everyday Essentials and inform prioritization through both data and anecdotes on pain points from both customer and sellers
* Set up mechanisms to track WW performance of metrics and goals, identify trends, measure the impact of initiatives, and define path to green or mitigation plans as needed
* Partner with Product, Science, Economics, Category, Business and Finance teams to align on input goals and deliver scalable product solutions and policy changes to drive increased growth
* Quantify the impact of initiatives into key output metrics
* Define a WW roadmap in partnership with regions within FBA
* Report performance via mechanisms across orgs
* Own developing a pipeline of initiatives to feed into current year, next year plan, and three year plan
* Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with audiences of all levels and geographies, including senior leaders
* Continuously raises the bar on the quality of written communications across emails,Amazon business documents by communicating clear messages that foster productive discussions and facilitate alignment on key priorities and investments
About the team
The success of WW FBA is synonymous with that of our sellers, and the WW FBA Planning Team is on a mission to help ensure that success. The WW FBA Planning team leads WW strategies and initiatives focused on specific business segments (ex. Everyday Essentials) to improve the customer experience, drive seller success by shaping initiatives and policies to allow for continued growth, and reducing overall cost to serve.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
