The Private Brands Sustainability and Compliance team supports this by protecting our customers, the environment and Amazon through ensuring safe and compliant Private Brands products. The PBPSC team builds and maintains regulatory expertise and uses it to influence safe and compliant product selection and development. Our team implements controls to protect our customers and the earth throughout the life of the product through audits, investigations, and program reviews.
This role requires skills to influence across a global organization, manage a high level of ambiguity, and make high-judgement decisions. The ideal candidate will be highly-analytical, creative, articulate, influential, and be able to invent new solutions that are simple and effective. You will work with risk and sustainability specialists across fields (product safety, social responsibility, environmental), sourcing managers, product developers, technical teams, and compliance risk managers.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage APB integrations with central compliance systems, including, but not limited to: Troubleshooting existing issues; Adding new use cases that need support; Regular reporting on status of relationship with each system
* Work with the compliance risk management and sustainability specialist teams to understand their problems and processes and ensure those use cases are accurately and effectively communicated to tech teams
* Use data and customer feedback to develop new processes, define and prioritize user stories to protect customers, improve buyability, enhance supplier experience, and uphold Amazon’s Suppy Chain Standards
* Manage a prioritized roadmap, provide regular reporting and communications on status
* Work with cross functional Ops and central planning teams to drive scale and automated adoption of solutions across global teams
* Identify and manage product issues, complete root cause analysis, provide escalation management and anticipate tradeoffs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Salary : $124,500 - $206,000
