Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. TPM in this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of software development managers, product managers and engineers to deliver new solutions into production. You will be responsible for creating the roadmap and project plan, creating metrics to measure velocity and progress, reporting to leadership, and coordinating and aligning stakeholders to a single vision. You will help make important important tradeoff decisions with product, science, and engineering. You will help us move quickly, look for simplifications and identify blockers early. You’ll own and improve the mechanisms we use to track goals, status, and business metrics across teams.
The ideal candidate can help bring clarity to ambiguous problems and enjoys transparency. We are a team that believes in sharing (and caring), and we believe we can accomplish so much more when we work together. You should have experience working in the software development lifecycle, ideally taking a product from 0 to 1 at Amazon. You should be comfortable communicating with leaders at the Director and VP level on a regular basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
