Description
Our fine dining restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for performing advanced food preparation and supervising the kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for the entire operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Responsibilities :
- Provide management and support to the kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency in the daily operation.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis.
- Teach preparation according to well-defined recipes and follow-up to discuss ways of constantly improving the cuisine at the property.
- Maintain the quality of food preparation and presentation through active participation in all aspects from planning to plating.
- Ensure all products are prepared in a consistent manner and meet quality standards.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
