What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Ambassador Personnel, Inc. [Suwanee, GA]?
We are currently looking for an individual who can work in a high-volume environment as an Accounts Payable Clerk! Must be detailed oriented! This position is located in Somerset, NJ!
This is a Monday-Friday first shift position. Hours are 7am-5pm, flexible hours but not before 7am or after 5pm.
Job Summary:
- Detailed oriented, strong attention to detail skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft.
- Verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices/expense reports.
- Scheduling and preparing checks.
- Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Document all accounts with updates and add all necessary notations.
- Issue stop-payment or purchase order amendments.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Process customer credits onto accounts.
