Ambassador is hiring immediately for a Purchasing Agent in the Pinckard, AL area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a clerical position with a Monday-Friday schedule!
The Purchasing Agent finds and purchases for a company to use or resell. The duties include locating suppliers, researching goods, services, and materials and processing purchasing orders. The Purchasing Agent will work closely with the suppliers and vendors to review costs and proposals and negotiate prices and contracts. Inventory levels are monitored to understand the purchasing trends to schedule orders.
Requirements:
Purchasing and invoicing knowledge preferred
ERP experience preferred
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment
