Operations Supervisor (Janitorial)

The Operations Supervisor will work closely with the Project/Operations Manager to oversee daily activities, manage resources, and ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operational activities, ensuring effective management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.
• Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues and enhance operational procedures and systems.
• Interview, select, and train new employees, and manage performance appraisals and corrective action plans.
• Organize and manage the company budget in collaboration with the director.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Conduct building walk-throughs and quality control inspections to maintain high standards.
• Communicate with the operations team to improve customer experience and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the inventory manager to optimize inventory management and reduce expenses.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures.
• Attend project status meetings and contribute to strategic planning and reviews.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong leadership, conflict management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to make decisions, manage people, and work under pressure.
• Proficient in data entry and reporting, with a strong understanding of budgeting.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
• Willingness to work long hours and be on-call during off hours.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and meet frequent deadlines.
