JOB TITLE : Photo Stylist
SUPERVISOR : Visual Manager & Lead Stylist
JOB TYPE : Full-Time, Hybrid (Subject to travel)
DESCRIPTION : We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and experienced Photo Stylist to join our Visual Team and play a crucial role in creating captivating and compelling imagery for our brand. As a Photo Stylist, you will work under the direction of the Visual Manager and Lead Stylist to support the conceptualization, planning, and execution of visually striking Product, Environmental, and Lifestyle shoots that align with our brand's aesthetic and message.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with merchandisers, photo stylists, and photographers to plan, prepare, and execute styling for product and on-location photoshoots ensuring expectations are met, and maintaining consistency across all visual campaigns
- Prepare products for studio photography workflow before, during, and after shoot days while effectively managing the shot list. Provide a recap handback to Merchandising and Warehouse teams post-shoots.
- Maintain an organized and clean studio environment, including upkeep of set, props, and styling tools.
- Support with styling, product flow, and general organization in studio and on-location shoots.
- Organize and maintain prop visual inventory library, implement an archiving system at the studio set, and manage inventory systemically and physically before, during, and after all shoots
- Collaborate with teams to plan shot lists and the inclusion of necessary furniture and accessories in looks.
- Prepare soft goods for photography by steaming or ironing, ensuring they’re photo-ready.
- Maintain an understanding of product features, applications, and unique selling points to effectively and innovatively style on set and location.
- Understand Shoppe’s visual identity and aesthetics, maintaining a consistent style and visual language across all product images while also staying up-to-date with new trends and how competitors showcase their products seasonally.
- Maintain product photography standards guide by sourcing inspiration and imagery that alights with art direction and ideas for creative styling
- Collaborate with creative and warehouse teams to set up, prepare, and breakdown set appropriately, ensuring general organization and cleanliness of the Studio Set.
