The Maintenance Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility. The Maintenance Director will lead a team of maintenance professionals while managing projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure timely repairs.
- Utilize schematics and voltmeters to troubleshoot electrical systems and machinery.
- Manage high voltage systems safely and effectively.
- Lead project management initiatives related to facility upgrades or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
- Provide leadership and training to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters for diagnostics.
- Demonstrated ability in facilities management, including project management skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to high voltage operations is preferred.
This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
