You will develop and oversee all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization's payroll processing objectives, including relationships with internal and external auditors and state and federal agencies. This role also involves overseeing the coordination and management of multiple payroll departments across multiple legal entities. Responsibilities will also include developing standard procedures and assessment and integration of the acquired entities’ payroll departments. This role will also work cross-functionally with other teams on inter-department projects and integrations.Responsibilities : Direct and manage the activities of the senior payroll management team and staff members.Oversee the development and implementation of corporate payroll strategies and plans.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Maintain robust internal controls and manage relationships with internal and external auditors.Prepare and present reports on payroll activities, metrics, and performance to senior leadership.Lead communications and marketing efforts related to payroll functions and services.Oversee payroll technology systems, ensuring they meet current and future business requirements.Continuously seek opportunities to improve payroll processes and ensure operational efficiency.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, and external agencies.Oversee the coordination and management of multiple payroll departments across multiple legal entities.Requirements : 5 to 7 years of payroll or closely related experience.Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred.Robust experience with Paylocity as a payroll software.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certification preferred.Multi-State and Multi-National Experience.Knowledge and experience in managing prevailing wage and certified payroll processes.Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Estimated Salary : $150,000 - $170,000 per year with flexibility based on experience and skills.Ambient provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
