Scope

The Vice President of Product Marketing will report to the EVP of Sales and will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall product marketing strategy at Ambiq. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive leadership team to identify market trends, develop and execute marketing programs, and drive revenue growth.

This role will lead the product marketing team, driving collaboration across Ambiq’s Architecture, Sales, Marcom, and Engineering teams, to ensure achievement of both short-term and long-term goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of exceeding industry growth by converting market and customer inputs into a robust roadmap. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format, to both technical and executive-level audiences. In addition, the candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to build, lead, and develop a high-powered organization.

The person in this role will be responsible for providing in-depth market analysis, including the TAM and SAM for target end markets / applications. Be able to clearly articulate the value proposition that Ambiq brings to Edge AI applications versus the competition at industry events, executive meetings, and at customers. Effectively drive the applications and FAE teams to build world-class demos.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the charge in defining the future of our product roadmap. Collaborate closely with our sales, product management, and architecture teams to identify new market opportunities and develop compelling business justifications for innovative product strategies.
  • Be the driving force behind our go-to-market strategy. Develop targeted marketing campaigns, deliver powerful sales enablement tools, and conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, analyze the competitive landscape, and stay ahead of emerging market trends.
  • Own product positioning, messaging, and launch plans. Craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience and drive successful product introductions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Inspire and motivate a team of talented marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with our Marcom team to amplify our brand and generate demand. Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy that leverages digital, social media, content marketing, advertising, events, and public relations to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide technical expertise to our Marcom team. Share your deep understanding of our products and technology to ensure our marketing efforts are accurate, compelling, and effective.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of success in the semiconductor industry. 15 years of experience in marketing and business development roles with increasing responsibility, demonstrating a strong focus on roadmap ownership, market expansion, and identifying emerging trends.
  • Global experience and a deep understanding of international markets. 10 years of experience working with semiconductor business entities in the US, APAC (China, Taiwan, and Japan), and EMEA.
  • A data-driven approach to marketing. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions and measure the impact of marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, and inspire and lead a high-performing team.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to make a significant impact. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Bonus Points :

  • MBA preferred.
  • Multilingual skills a plus, but not required.
