School Counselor
Reports to: School Principal
Hours: Part-Time

Responsibilities and Duties
- Guide the development and implement a competitive school counseling program that focuses on and promotes students’ success
- Value and respond to the diversity and individual differences of students
- Ensure equitable access to opportunities and rigorous curriculum for all students
- Provide direct support services through structured conventions
- Evaluate areas of strength and advocate for students
- Provide group or individual responsive services
- Collaborate with teaching staff to determine how best to meet individual students' needs
- Work with school faculty and staff to develop plans for maintaining the well-being of individual students and of the student population as a whole
- Perform assessments, interpret tests and study student records
- Gather and analyze data to measure results
- Complete regular reports on progress

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Masters degree in counseling required
- Successfully pass a background check passed, required
- Strong computer skills, including Google Suite and Adobe
- Experience in working with teams and individuals to meet specific and strategic outcomes
- Familiarity with online learning platforms
- 2 years of experience working as a counselor with yout
