EHS Supervisor
Environmental Health and Safety opportunity to provide strategic direction for two chemical plants. You will manage the EHS programs with approximately 60% focus on environmental issues and 40% on overseeing Health and Safety related issues.
- Develop and implement policies for EHS for two sites.
- Oversee compliance and permitting for Air, Waste and Water
- Supervise Health & Safety staff and guide continuous improvement in these areas
- Manage state and federal permitting and oversee audits and inspections.
- Manage EHS contractors and hire skill specific consultants as needed.
- Support PSM
- Maintain and improve EHS training programs
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to the EHS programs
- 10-20% travel by car
- Requires a BS Degree in engineering or sciences or equivalent
- Must have experience inside a chemical plant or refining operating environment
Salary : $145,000 - $160,000
