What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Ambulatory Surgery Center?
POSITION SUMMARY :
The front desk receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and their visitors, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment. To greet patients when checking in for their procedures, verifying information, and assisting with any necessary paperwork while maintaining customer service. Ensure the front desk operates smoothly and efficiently. Promotes a favorable image of the Center to patients, visitors, and physicians.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience, preferably in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
- Experience in Endoscopy / Multi-specialty / ASC
- Strong knowledge of ICD 10
- Strong knowledge of CPT
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Basic computer skills
