Job Description
The Parker Law Firm is an AV rated law firm that represents those persons who have been injured as a result of the negligence and wrongdoing of others. We are committed to providing quality legal services to our clients. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our office. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

This position does more than just answer phones and the ideal candidate will have an opportunity to grow within the firm. An important aspect of this position is the ability to take on additional responsibilities and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
At least two years minimum of prior front desk/receptionist experience required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel) familiarity with Adobe is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is mandatory. Proficiency and familiarity with office equipment such as copier, fax machines and scanners.

Key Responsibilities
- Primary duty is answering phones in professional and friendly manner. Transferring calls to the proper party; taking messages or transferring to voicemail
- Entering potential new client information into case management software
- Mail handling: Take mail to the post office at the end of the day for drop-off. Scan incoming mail.
- Client packets: Maintain packets for new clients and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Case filing: Organize and file case documents in hard files.
- Demand packets: Send out demand packets as directed by attorneys.
- Mail distribution: Send other mail as directed by attorneys and other team members.
- Fax management: Send faxes as needed and check the fax directory on the server throughout the day. Rename received faxes and save them to the client file and case management software.
- Quarterly mailings: Send quarterly mailings as directed by the marketing director.
- Order office and kitchen supplies as need
- Keep common areas including workroom neat.
