Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Assist with project budgeting and cost management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess value engineering opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
