Courier Billing Specialist
*This is not a medical coding or medical billing position*
We are a transportation company in business for over 20 years. We are looking to fill a full-time position as a Courier Billing Specialist. This position will report to the Senior Billing Manager and work closely with Site Administrators and Independent Contractors.
Core Responsibilities:
Ø Prepare, research, & submit invoicing for customer billing and contractor payment.
Ø Reconcile billing disputes or payment discrepancies by validating contractor invoicing against system reporting.
Ø Request and manually enter proof-of-delivery provided in lieu of electronic proof-of-delivery.
Ø Accomplishes job duties within designated timelines to meet corporate deadlines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Ø Supports account Site Administration by maintaining and updating system applications.
Ø Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Ø Maintains HIPAA standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ø Detailed experience working with Excel.
Ø Possess strong organizational & time management skills.
Ø Strong skills in problem-solving, research, customer service, data analysis, & multi-tasking.
Ø Thrives in a position where the workflow is repetitive but can readily adapt to change as needed
Ø Ability to work interdependently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy.
Ø Must have a strong work ethic & self-starter.
Ø Ability to communicate effectively verbally and writing in English.
Ø Ability to interact with employees and contractors in a professional manner.

Salary: $41,000.00 to $43,000.00 /year

Monday to Thursday 7:00AM-5:30PM
