AMECO is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inventory Control & Supply Chain Analyst. This position is based in Harrison, Ohio but will be responsible for analyzing & managing the Inventory of all Ameco operations centers and assisting in inventory management and compliance at our Sites. The Inventory Control & Supply Chain Analyst will assist Warehouse Operations by effectively monitoring, recording, and reporting on adjustment results in accordance with Ameco’s adjustment value tolerance levels and inventory cycle verification requirements. The Inventory Control & Supply Chain Analyst will assist the Supply Chain department with the identification of items eligible to modify stock quantities in a center based off usage history. The Inventory Control & Supply Chain Analyst will assist the Sales team by identifying slow moving or obsolete inventory that is ideal for clearance or disposition. The Inventory Control & Supply Chain Analyst will function as the material data gatekeeper maintaining consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of data in various business systems by completing periodic audits during item creation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data validation : Standardize, validate, cleanse and keep up to date master data to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to data quality standards
- Inventory Monitoring & Control : Track, analyze, and report operation center accuracy and compliance to inventory control.
- Data Analysis : Use data analytics and forecasting models to assist with determining ideal stock levels, reorder points, and demand planning as necessary
- Reports : Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using SAP and Power BI. Generate and present inventory reports, including stock turnover rates, demand trends, and discrepancies.
- Process Optimization : Identify inefficiencies in inventory management and recommend improvements to reduce carrying & handling costs and improve accuracy.
- Cross-functional collaboration and influence : Identify and resolve root causes of inventory losses, working with cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement containment & preventive measures
- System Management : Utilize inventory management systems to update and track stock levels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with procurement, sales, warehouse, and finance teams to align inventory strategies with business needs.
- Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure inventory processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Ensure common processes are being utilized and internal controls are in place.
- Assist with identification and implementation of improvements for processes and tools used to facilitate the management of system information.
