Job position: Certified Tumor Registrar (Fully Remote)
Job location: Greenbrae, CA 94904
Shift Timings: Fully Remote - 8hrs daily
Pay rate : $44/ hour
Requirements:
Certification: Oncology Data Specialist-Certified (ODS-C).
Education:
- Associate degree in Health/Biology or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Experience:
- 5 years of experience working in a hospital or centralized cancer registry.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Federal Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) regulations, California Cancer Registry, Department of Health Services Cancer Surveillance Section laws, and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accreditation rules.
- Extensive knowledge of cancer registry operations, tumor nomenclature, classification systems, and a strong medical background in the cancer disease process.
Skills:
- Proficient in computerized database analysis, data processing, and applications, including CNExT.
- Ability to abstract cancer cases independently and maintain at least a 98% accuracy rate.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $43.00 - $44.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
