Controls Specialist/ Control System Technician
Dependent on experience, but salary around $70k-$80kW
Weekday shift: Monday – Thursday. (10 hrs shift) They also are eligible for overtime.
It is a technical role, where their primary responsibility is to answer calls from the floor and troubleshoot. It is a lot of systematic/computer/software troubleshooting vs actual equipment troubleshooting.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- HS Diploma/GED Required
- Minimum 2 Year degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in the Electrical field preferred
- Must be willing/flexible to cover 2nd shift when cover is needed
- Must have high level troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
- A plus to have PLC Programming Skills
- Electrical/Mechanical CAD Experience
- Motion Control Experience
- Robot Programming Experience
- Machine Vision Experience
- Ability to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, oral) is required
