Tool Crib Technician/ Manufacturing Technician

3rd Shift :: hours are 11:30 PM – 8 AM, 5 days a week. Starting on Sunday nights at 11:30PM.

Pay Rate: $20.25/hrly

Job Details: Must be able to pass an ATF background check and cleared to work in an explosive environment. Must be able to work on selected shift.

"The Tool Crib Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical or systems. The Tool Crib Technician completes visual & dimensional inspections of tooling.

Responsibilities:
- Polish Tooling
- Mold Various parts for Robot End of Arm Tooling
- Operate 3D Printers
- Maintain tooling inventory for production manufacturing
- Use Work Order Travelers to stage tooling for Production
- Maintain production tools and equipment
- Dimension-ally inspect diameters of parts
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnose assemblies for defects and repair
- Rebuild mechanical assemblies
- Ensure ability to: read blueprints and identify components
- Maintain Critical Spare Inventory for production facility equipment, employee performs regular inventory counts

Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate surface grinder to resurface scarred tooling
- Operate hydraulic press for press fit assemblies"

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Experience:

• Tooling design: 2 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
• mechanical assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Molding: 1 year (Preferred)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
• Grinding: 1 year (Preferred)
• hydraulic press: 1 year (Preferred)
