Mechanical Assembler

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assemble components across all product lines, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Select and use appropriate tools and fixtures for assembly.
• Test all assembled products to verify functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to product assembly and testing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Identify mechanical and electrical components accurately.
• Operate hand tools and relevant equipment with precision.
• Apply correct dimensioning and tolerances to mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Maintain accurate labor and production records for all tasks.
• Perform repairs on customer equipment, including units, wellhead spools, chokes, actuators, and other surface wellhead equipment as required.
• Assemble and disassemble new or used equipment for inspection, testing, and repair.
• Conduct inspections and perform functional testing of mechanical assemblies.
• Paint, test, and prepare new or refurbished wellhead/tree sections for delivery.

Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Mechanical assembly: 2 years (Required)
• oil and gas: 1 year (Required)
• wellhead: 1 year (Preferred)
• tree section: 1 year (Preferred)
