Reach Lift Operator

Job Overview
AMER Technology is hiring Reach Truck Operators to assist with warehouse operations and ensure accurate deliveries to customers. The role requires operating a reach truck for stowing and retrieving products, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with potential for full-time conversion in as little as 4-6 weeks, based on performance, attitude, and attendance.

Duties

• Operate a Reach Truck to move, stack, and retrieve products efficiently.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Receive and implement feedback (both positive and constructive) to improve performance.
• Work as part of a team to meet warehouse goals and deadlines.
• Use basic hand tools when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center or warehouse setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe material handling practices.
• Previous experience working under the supervision of a warehouse supervisor is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Overtime

• High reach forklift: 2 years (Required)
