Assist the Designer(s) in creating / developing seasonal product for outerwear.Responsibilities
and Duties : Ability to create accurate flat sketches and design tech packsShop stores and online for new trends. Search and preparation of color / trend reports for designers and sales / buyers.Shopping trade / fabric shows, collecting and developing new fabrics and trims.Exceptional multitasking abilities, with a high level of attention to detail and organizationSteam and taking photos of garments.Prepare seasonal line sheets for all accounts.Order samples for accounts and / or advertising.Assist with photo shoots as needed.Attend fit sessions with models; Adjust tech packs as needed. Make correction comments on proto samples, when first received.Original artwork, graphics and trim development.A keen eye for color and the ability to provide feedback on fabric lab dips and strike-offsDaily communications with vendors and factories.Responsible for handling specs for garments.Qualifications1-3 years apparel design experienceProficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopReliable, hardworking, honest, and willing to helpStrong ability to translate ideas through sketchingStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivatedPositive attitudeExtremely organizedSubmit resume and any relevant samples of your artwork or portfolio.
