Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Amherst, MA who is currently seeking a non-clinical case manager to assist them at their Behavioral Center on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include :
Location : Amherst, MA - Locations all throughout western Massachusetts
Duration : 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension
Setting : Psychiatric / Behavioral
Openings : Monday - Friday , 8 hour shifts between 8am-6pm
Ability to travel within a set radius is required.
2 days will always be at the main site in Amherst.
Salary : $24 / hr
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
- Maintains full caseload, complete with ongoing individual service plans
- Assess ongoing changes in behavior, circumstances, or conditions that may affect client safety
- Engages / involves client and sponsor in the casework process
- Prepares, compiles, and submits accurate case files
- Serves as a liaison with stakeholders (i.e.. legal providers, immigration court)
- Actively participates in seminars, workshops, educational programs
- Completes home visits to meet with sponsor (if applicable)
- Maintains contact with clients through phone calls and home visits (if applicable)
- Consults with supervisors to determine decisions as they relate to the safety, well-being and permanency of patient
