What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - Special Education position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
Ages 3 - 22
Special Education School with high level of learning disability. Working with IEPs and in team environment alongside teacher, parents, social workers, etc.
Position is long term, School is 11-month program with only July off
will work in team environment with other physical therapists to ensure all cases are completed weekly. caseload ranges from 20 - 30
The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patientevaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient andphysician’s orders when applicable.
Minimum Requirements :
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state ofpractice
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapyexperience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
